Cherry Print Vogue 8728

April 9, 2013

Hello vintage lovers! This is my second version of the Vintage Vogue reprint 8728. I finally got the fit right, the first dress had so much ease I went two sizes down for the perfect fit. The fabric is cherry print rayon, which is very lightweight and has a bit of stretch, from Mood in NYC. I think it is the perfect combination of fabric and pattern, I just love the way it came out.

  1. Congrats on the new job at Fabricland!
And many thanks for that gorgeous purple wiggle dress, and this rayon, too.
I love rayon meself, more than silk, for summer. Happy sewing!

  2. I’ve really never liked this pattern because of the way it looks in the drawing/on the model on the pattern envelope, but it really looks great on you! The fabric is super cute, too. Looks like a great summer dress!
