Vintage Sewing

April 4, 2010

This circa 1954 Simplicity Pattern 4651 was my latest project and was finished in the nick of time for Easter!
Made from 100% cotton in a beautiful shade of blue with chocolate polka dots and hand made bias. It was so easy to sew, and the fabulous pocket design was a real delight in the end.
More about the pocket design on my blog!
  1. I've had this pattern in my stash for years and have never sewed it…I'm happy to see it on a person! It's super cute- love the neckline and pockets.
