Pin-Up Stripe Cigarette Pants

March 29, 2016

I recently made my first foray in to pants-making – although I was super apprehensive before getting started, it turned out to be so much more straightforward than I expected! I used the cigarette pant pattern fromΒ Gertie Sews Vintage Casual, and I’m so pleased with how they turned out πŸ™‚

I sewed them up in a gorgeous vintage wool suiting fabric that was bought by my great-grandmother, and given to me last year by my grandmother – a very special fabric indeed! It was amazing to work with, especially on my vintage Singer 201P machine – it was vintage sewing heaven πŸ˜€

I can’t wait to sew these up again! There fantastic for placement, and so much nicer than any RTW trousers I own. To read more about these and see more photos, head over to my blog! πŸ™‚

Until next time,

Miss Maddy xx
