Baby Bumps and Birdies 60s Maternity Dress

A really, really, easy maternity dress I sewed up.

Two pieces for the front and back, kimono sleeves, neck facing and bias binding for sleeves, two big pockets, and a simple tie belt for the front. This was my first version of this dress and I had absolutely no problems or confusion in making it. It almost seemed to make itself, it was so fast.
I probably could’ve made it up in an afternoon or a couple hours if it weren’t for little hands to pull me in all directions, but since today’s Mother’s Day here in the U.S., I will choose to celebrate what could be seen as an inconvenience. After all little hugs and kisses are worth more than a new dress for mommy.
Happy Mother’s Day everyone!
