Retro Butterick 5603

Hello everyone! Today I am going to share with you my second ever sewing project. It was a killer, considering the only other thing I had made at the time was an apron. I probably haven’t even made anything quite this difficult since! I am pretty proud of it and glad I persevered and finished it.  I used red and white weaved lightweight linen.

Thanks for looking!

Beautiful! How was the linen to work with?

At the time, it was quite frustrating not knowing what was the right side, but now I’m sure it would be less difficult.
