This is my favourite make so far, a dior inspired suit from Gertie’s Book for Better Sewing.  The jacket was made from a vintage find which cost £5, and its pictured with two six panelled skirts; one in crepe and one in boiled wool, lovely and cosy. I really like the nipped in waist look, so flattering!  More on my blog here.

I really like this and your choice of fabric is great!

Beautiful jacket, I too love that nipped in waist, and the fabric is such a lovely colour.

Very nice fitting – love the silhouette with the fur! The link to your blog appears to not work. Can you let us know what the address is? Would love to see it.
