I couldn’t resist making another dress from this pattern. I love the fit and the practical style. It’s just such an easy dress to wear.
This time I used a 100% cotton with a woven floral stripe pattern. I had to do a bit of careful cutting to make sure the pattern didn’t look awkward on the princess seams, and I’m very happy with how that worked out.
I just wish the fabric didn’t crease so much. Next time we head out to take photos I’m either taking a travel iron or travelling in my undies and getting dressed at the location!

Love both the dresses you made from this pattern. Regarding the pressing, creases from wear look just fine……………………….. I see so many garments online that have obviously not been press properly during or after construction.
Thanks Peggy, ikwym about things not being pressed during construction, it’s a real bug bear of mine, drives me crazy!
This looks great! It is a cute and easy wearing style. Ditto Peggy on the wrinkles. It looks pretty wearable to me!
Great dress! Love!
