Accidental Field of Poppies Part 2

From 1 old, unloved curtain to a family of FANTASTIC cushionsThank you so very much to you lovelies who commented on my part one of Accidental Field of Poppies in early September post.

You I hope will be pleased to hear, the business woman in me prevailed and not the Mother ….DANGIT that really is a first, I feel liberated ;)

The poppies have been made into a family of cushions and much to my amazement they sold IMMEDIATELY! Didn’t get them to the vintage fair, just a little promo on my blog and facebook and KAZAM….. gone! More than slightly delighted and even more inspired than I was before so a big thank you for your support, encouragement and advice. xxx

Mum taught me to sew from the age of 4 starting with a pencil case, 44 years on I make anything and everything but take special pleasure in gowns of every description, Bridal, Ball, Christening and the like. If I can source vintage fabric and findings all the better, I love for there to be a story behind each piece.
