Phew!  Made it just in time!

This is my entry for the Fall for Cotton Sewalong (with which so many of you are already familiar and participating in!):

This is made from Style 3994 from the early 70s.  The fabric is this really lovely cotton corduroy in a rich plum/eggplant colour.  It’s embroidered all over with a delicate vine pattern in variegated thread going through shades of burnt orange-brown-sage green.

I had a couple of issues during the making of this very simple pattern (isn’t that so often the way?) but I’m really pleased with how it turned out in the end!  And I’m also thrilled to have a great, new, easy to wear dress for my favourite time of year!

You can read more about it and see some more photos on my blog

This is beautiful! Love the colors. It looks so rich and warm. Great fabric for a simple design.
