How I used my border print

I just couldn’t let this fantastic aqua, floral border print go the way of most border prints (the ever-popular gathered skirt), so I opted for capris and a tie-front top.   Wore it to a fabulous car show downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin, at the historic Pabst Brewing grounds.  More details on the outfit on my blog.

Shepherdess, retro-housewife, mother, seamstress... but labels can be deceiving. I also play the sax, butcher chickens and sing in the church choir. I raise sheep and bale hay. I sew from Grandma's patterns and drive a 1950 Ford Shoebox. Life at the Willow Homestead is retro right down to the 1947 Frigidaire!

Lovely! I’m terribly jealous of your border print fabric, I’ve been looking for some for quite a while now.

This is so summery! I could see it with ankle strap espadrille shoes.

Your outfit is a very cute, creative way to use a pretty border print. Perfect for summer and a stroll amongst classic cars!
