Vintage Barkcloth Peony

Hey guys I recently came across some beautiful vintage barkcloth from a local antique store, pictured below.

I only had 2 metres of the grey fabric on the right and managed to squeeze out a Colette Peony from it!

Here it is made up –

And the back

I know it’s not a vintage pattern but thought you guys might like to see the pretty fabric made into a dress. I haven’t decided what to make with the green and coral fabric yet, but there’s 3 metres of it so I have a lot more options!

Thanks for looking :)

  • I love it! I ticks all the vintage dress boxes for me, I love the neck line, it has to be one of my favourite cuts.

And the front panel pleats, such a great touch, you’ve made a nice job of it, so cool to be able to make something work with so little fabric!

    Thanks for sharing.
