I recently made this black Swiss Dot peasant blouse from vintage pattern Butterick 9768. This is the first of many that I am planning on making this summer. The pattern is easy to whip up and looks great with a variety of outfits. I bought the pattern on Etsy and in a size 14 which is perfect for my modern size 6 or Medium.
A true Summer staple! For outfit details visit my blog post on this project on my blog; Bobbins And Bombshells.
I’m looking forward to several of these blouses in my wardrobe!
Beautiful blouse. Head to toe fabulous! Want your cherry necklace too.
Very cute!
That looks so cool and comfortable for summer! Love the cat-eye sunglasses, too!
Nice! The fabric goes well with the pattern.
YES INDEED! Great staple. Very cute in the entire outfit. Well done.
I absolutely adore this! Just perfect! Swiss dot is one of my fabric fabrics and in black – wonderful!!!
Your outfit is darling, from the top of your head to the end of your toes! I love the necklace and the combination of red, black, and white. Whether or not you made the skirt, too, I love the lace. The cute vintage purse, the sunglasses, all of it together shows you certainly have the look figured out!
This is lovely and looks super cute with that skirt too!
Lovely, and great choice of fabric 🙂
Black Swiss dot is a brilliant choice for this blouse because it’s charming, yet neutralizes the twee sweetness peasant blouses can suffer from. And your accessorizing is spot-on. Way to rock a wardrobe staple!
Wow. You are right that is a great blouse! Your whole outfit is fabulous. Looks like you’ll be dressing well this summer!
Thank you all! Enjoying this blouse and pattern! xo
