Simplicity 4912

I sewed a super sweet early 60s outfit last week, using Simplicity 4912. I used a dupioni silk for the wrap around skirt and a cotton with an Art Noveau pattern by Liberty for the blouse. Both pieces were super easy to sew but I spent a lot of time matching the pattern of the Liberty fabric (successfully, luckily :-)

A few more details on my blog here!

Love the skirt! You have much more patience than myself. If my prints match up, it is simply by chance.
