Swingdress from Praktische Mode 03/1958

Hello Ladies, i want to show you my last dress.

The Dress is from the german Praktische Mode June 1952. There are no instructions, but only a pattern with few clues. So I’m very proud that it worked anyway.

The fabric is incidentally from the flea market, so I have no idea what it is for a material. But it is very lightweight and drapes beautifully.

Because the dress at the waist is too wide, the button placket – luckily – only decoration.

I love the dress very much, so i hope it will soon be very hot, so I can wear it.

I named it swingdress, because the wonderfully wide skirt and the loose top is great for dancing. More information you can find on my blog Beswingtes Allerlei.
