I am a wardrobe assistant at a local Ballet Company, and make costumes for burlesque and cabaret performers after hours. I do believe you have the dream job and I am just a tad jealous as I sit here being a legal secretary, trying not to fall asleep. They simply will not let me bring my sewing to work – I’ve asked! You do some really beautiful things and are very talented.

Thank you very much, I must say it is a amazing job and I do pinch myself sometimes just to make sure I’m not dreaming.
As in many jobs its not always easy, and the hours are long and the pay isn’t great. But you don’t get this kind of job for the money ;) its a lot of love and passion.
And I think you should keep trying with bringing small amounts of hand sewing they might not notice ;)
