Isn’t this new reprint from Simplicity the BEST?! I love the shape, and it has french darts and one piece facings! It was a dream to put together, I had a super cute dress in a matter of hours. I used a cotton/lycra blend in this fantastic coral color, with a pique collar and covered buttons. I made view A, but I’m already dreaming of a view B version for myself!

That dress looks AMAZING on you!!! I adore it! And the color is awesome too! Now I think I have to make one of those for myself! :-)

I am of a similar shape as you and never would have thought to try a dress like this- it looks great! Maybe I will try one after all. :)

Nice color choice! 60′s shifts are the best when you want to whip up a quick dress. In fact, I am working on this exact pattern right now! I chose a print and will be posting my version soon :p

You look so stinkin’ cute in this! What a superb job! The insides are finished so nicely too!
