Easter sewing deadline…MADE IT!

Phew!  At 10:30pm Saturday night, I sewed the last snap onto my Easter dress!  Nothing like a deadline to keep your butt in gear!  For myself, a 1950s full-skirted dress in a luscious silk/linen blend using Butterick 7065.

To see more photos on this and details on my children’s outfits, check out my blog post.

Shepherdess, retro-housewife, mother, seamstress... but labels can be deceiving. I also play the sax, butcher chickens and sing in the church choir. I raise sheep and bale hay. I sew from Grandma's patterns and drive a 1950 Ford Shoebox. Life at the Willow Homestead is retro right down to the 1947 Frigidaire!
