Summer is near! (I hope!)

I’ve never been a real big fan of off season sewing because I always want to wear my new creations as soon as they are finished, but I’m so ready for summer that I made an exception for this lovely blouse!

It’s Butterick 7328 and has two sleeve options-a cap sleeve and a puff sleeve.

I opted for the cap sleeve since I had only 1 yd of this cute green gingham fabric. I really loved how this piece turned out and I really want a puff sleeved version too! I took these shots on a pretty warm day but that is a clump of snow in the background. It’s gotten a quite chilly again so it’ll be a while before I get to wear it again.

If you’d like to see more, there are extra shots of this blouse and my fab Freddies of Pinewood 50s style capris as well as more construction details over on my blog.

Summer please come soon!
