in 1940s

A long time…

This is my coat, my first coat.

I wanted one to wear with my 50′s dresses.

Model from Burda 2011, january but with a personal touch to look in 40′S….

I'm Bellis Winter, always lost in fabrics and colors. I love 40's and 50's, it's so important to be "myself" in clothes to feel better, to be feminine. Sewing all the time, sometimes knitting... I'm french girl who live in the south but love the north

Lovely work on the coat, and I really like the way you’ve styled and staged your photograph! :-D

Wow, the coat is very beautiful! Is it made of velvet?

yes it is velvet, and it was difficult because I had 8 meters on 1….

Oh, that sounds like a challenge indeed! But the dotted velvet is really great, I think I might search for a similiar fabric (-:

It’s a chance story because I’ve found it in caritative shop…
