My name is Rike, I recently started sewing again and just finished my first project in more than 10 years. I wear a lot of vintage clothes and so I decided to use a vintage inspired pattern, Burda Nr. 7255. It is a very sweet and simple design, with a bow and pleats on the back. It’s the kind of garment that I see in fancy boutiques but don’t buy because it is just a bit too expensive – it makes me very happy to be able to make similiar things by myself (-:

See a few more pictures on my blog.

Thank you so much (-: I think I will buy more of this fabric and will make a dress out of it, it’s just so beautiful (and perfect for spring!).

I love the blouse. Great fabric. I wish more women were into vintage styles. They’re classy and so much fun. I love the 30s and 40s. Maybe it’s watching all those classic films.

I am kind of overwhelmed by all your kind compliments – thank you so much, that really made my day!
I do blog in German and English by the way – but I should probably think about a new text layout to make it more clear (-:

Thank you :-) I found the skirt in my favorite vintage boutique in Brussels and I love it, it’s very versatile and goes well with so many colors and patterns.
