I used retro Simplicity 4044 pattern to create these 1940′s style pants. The fabric is a wool suiting. I absolutely adore the front pleats. The construction was fairly simple with only 4 pieces and can be completed in a day. If you love 40′s style I highly recommend this pattern. The only alterations I made were to reduce the width a bit by bringing in the inseam a half inch on each side. Read all about them on my blog!
