I used a vintage McCalls pattern for this dress, that i brought from Etsy.  I actually modified it a whole lot, as the original pattern design although awesome, swamped me completely.. so off came the sleeves and the collar into this more simple design.  It is so flattering to wear with the  nice full skirt, and  i am getting alot of wear out of this one! Especially in the Aussie summer, making it up in  cotton poplin is a huge plus!

This is super cute! I’d love to see it in a light colored cotton eyelet. Maybe peach or mint, and you could add a belt with a flower accent or something. It’s a classic summery dress!
