Last year at this time I solemnly vowed to post a vintage pattern review this year and as per my usual timing, I waited until the very tail end of 2012 to do it. So, if you will indulge me- I present my very first and hopefully not last, pattern review. Do I get bonus points for a Frankenpattern? Oh, I hope so! Here’s the primary victim:

I combined 2 retro Buttericks to get a full skirt on this dress. That entailed not gathering the bodice and adding back darts. It is still not fitting as I would like- I’ve seen some similiar thoughts about this pattern. I do love it, tho.Getting from that to this was a bumpy ride to say the least!
