So this is a project i’ve been thinking about doing for a while but with onset of cold weather thought it was about time I took the plunge and made myself a hat…well upcycle.
Started with a cheap bog standard hat I got in a sale for £3.
And using the instructions from a make do and mend newsreel fromt he 40′s and a little bit of guessing I cut off the brim and re sewed it to give a ‘nifty’ sporty look hat.
I even added ribbon.
and feathers as decorations.
All I need now is a way of making sure it is secure a hair comb or hat pin and I’m done.
