Retro Pattern Heaven

Hi everyone! Recently I hit the retro pattern jackpot at an estate sale and scored an entire box of patterns for $15! I’m currently going through the patterns and cataloging them, but of course I can’t resist planning a project at the same time!

The owner of these patterns, a Miss Adorna Wheelock, is my new inspiration! She kept a ton of patterns, many of which are mailorder patterns I can’t seem to find copies of elsewhere. Here are my top three contenders (so far) for a project from this box of wonder.

Which would you choose? For more details about these patterns and about this terrific estate sale find, please visit me at Seams Sustainable.

  • I have #3 but probably paid as much for it, if not more for that alone!
If you make it, please do feature it here. I’m planning on making mine in the long sleeved version in the next coming weeks ready for this winter.

  • Get out – Adorna Wheelock? Really? That’s an awesome name, and she must have had an awesome wardrobe to boot!
