I was really surprised this week to receive a bill for the renewal of our webhosting – because that means we’ve been here at WeSewRetro.com for a whole year already. Whoah!

In the past twelve months, we’ve had over 364000 visitors from 164 countries (hello Belarus!) reading posts from 652 contributing bloggers. We’ve  picked up over 1100 fans on our facebook page and started a community pinboard for vintage pattern awesomeness over on Pinterest that continually threatens to tempt me into a massive pattern spending spree. In short, it’s been enormous fun!

So, to everyone who has stuck with us through the transition to our new home, and to everyone who has joined since, let me say a heartfelt thank you. You make this community one of the best places on the web for vintage and sewing inspiration. I’m continually amazed by the creativity and talent of our posters, and the generosity of our commenters. You rock!

I’ve got two treats for you to mark our anniversary: a free digital download of a 1940s fitting guide and 25% off everything at ZipZapKap Vintage Patterns (worldwide shipping available) until the end of this week.

To claim the 25% discount, type ONEYEAR into the coupon code box when you checkout and the total will automatically adjusted. The coupon code is valid until 11:59 p.m. on Sunday night, US Central time. If you’re not sure what time/day that is in your part of the world, this site will help you figure it out.

So thank you, enjoy the vintage pattern discount here, click here to grab your free download and here’s to another year of vintage sewing splendidosity :D
