Hello! I am new to posting on We Sew Retro, although I’ve been reading for a long time. I just started my very own sewing blog, documenting all the fun vintage patterns I get to recreate for my clients.
Karin had contacted me about making three dresses each for her and her friend Lisa to wear to a company weekend retreat. They wanted to glam it up with some fabulous 1960′s style fashions! My specialty ![]()
The vintage pattern…I believe I bought it off eBay in a lot.
I used a polyester ivory shantung sateen fabric from Fabric.com. The ribbon is a burgundy 3/8″ double faced satin ribbon.
For this dress, I used a red floral print linen from Jo-Ann Fabric. I also used little vintage black faceted glass buttons I purchased from an estate sale.
You can read more about there projects of mine here and here!
Thanks for reading!
