McCall’s 2922

by Through the Alley

in 1970s

Hello!

Recently I decided to make something a little more modern than what I usually make. I made McCall’s 2922 from 1971.

I used a feather printed stretch knit that I found at my local thrift store; and that’s where I made the first mistake. It was a nightmare trying to sew the elastic on the waist and sleeves, so I ended up just giving up and hemming it. Other than that, the pattern was fairly simple to make. It’s something I would make again, but with a different fabric.

Hi! I'm Allie, a 21 year old vintage enthusiast. I spend most of my time thrifting, going on random adventures with my boyfriend, antiquing, taking pictures of random things, styling photo shoots, reading, sewing, having dinner with friends, knitting, wasting time on instagram -_- and hanging out at my local Korean bath house.
