Now that I have a few moments to breathe I am finally updating all the forums and blogs that I belong to! It is a tradition that I, as I am sure many of you, go to VLV Rockabilly Weekender every year. I save fabric finds through-out the year and in procrastinator style, feverishly sew my fingers to the bone starting the end of January to be ready for the week-long event in April.
I am trying to get better at updating my blogs together so I do not have to repeat myself over and over again! It was even one of my New Year’s resolutions. Anywho, here are some of the dresses I made for the event. It ranges from a reort set to evening wear. I hope you enjoy.

Rockabilly Kitten, these are all beautiful! And the fit is amazing. Terrific job. I am loving seeing playsuits everywhere, but they seem a little young for my 45 years. But what the heck, I might give one a go anyway!
I love your style!!
OMG! I love these, but that reddish dress in the middle- *drools*
Thanks
I plan on wearing it for Christmas.
Fantastic each and all – you look stunning.
Wowza girl you can sew!! Those are fab. Loving the red dress.
Just adorable! Did you use a particular pattern for the 3-piece playsuit?
I used a frankenstein of patterns really. I am quite conservative and the “playsuit” patterns were a bit short and revealing. I used: For the bolero: Simplicity 3748 (the reproduction of their vintage patterns). For the playsuit: McCall’s 6331 view A. For the skirt: McCall’s 5430
You can read about all the modifications I did on the 3patterns on this link: http://kittenscloset55.blogspot.com/2012/06/resort-set.html
Love all !
Lovely,lovely,lovely
Just wonderful! Love them!!!
