Nice job matching your stripes! Looks fantastic.
I am begging all the retro/vintage bloggers to do a post on dressing for the mature woman. I am a grandmother with graying hair that I love and a figure that is not the 110 pound pin-up body I had when I married 26 years ago. I am 45 years old…not old enough to remember first hand what women wore. And 30 pounds heavier than I was back then…the styles look “young” and silly on me. So much of the information available is for the young, slender girls who are still in their pin-up days. I would adore some pictures/instructions on how to dress like a classy, middle-aged vintage lady. Thank you so much.
I am also impressed with the stripe matching on the binding! Tres bien!
Your stripe placement and matching are perfect. What a fabulous dress! I agree with the Tres bien!
I really like the way you use the stripes! Very nice!
