Peggy Wood Tribute Dress

I draped this dress based off of a Peggy Wood sarong spotted here:

The bodice is nearly identical except that I omitted the shirring on the back as I had bad luck with the elastic on my last attempt. Next time I think I will try it with the border print and a sarong skirt instead of my tnt self draped circle skirt.

Love your dress, and the inspiration for it. Not sure what problems you were having with shirring, but here is a post that addresses shirring problems — hope they help with yours.
