Thanks! The pattern is McCall’s 5081, but quite a heavily modified version!! It’s a good place to start though to adapt to your own curves depending on how wiggly you want it!
Oh, so you added the high waistband? I love it! Great job on the fit, and I think that high waist is gorgeous.
Yes I made the waistband higher, significantly tapered the fit and eliminated the kick pleat!! Makes for a super wiggle super hot slink of a skirt, I think!!
Fun! Reminds me of outfits worn by Candy Johnson in the beach movies of the early 60s.
I keep thinking about doing a skirt or top with fringe…now you know the new thing is tie-dyed fringe? Yes, it’s very cool. Anyhow, just about any color of fringe can be had at Vogue Fabrics in Evanston, IL.
