I made myself a playsuit! The fabric is vintage madras I bought at the Rose Bowl Flea Market and the pattern is from the early forties. Visit me at Sew Country Chick for more pics and info!
So cute! I tried my hand at a romper a couple of months ago but the style I picked was totally not age appropriate for me. Yours is perfect! And I love the print you chose!
This is super cute! I really love the styling for the clothing in the 1940’s and this outfit shows why. Just look at the way the sleeves make the garnet look playful almost animated, but in a good way. The bottom part of the garnet is also fanned out in an exaggerated way but still cute. Looks great on you and the fabric you choose is perfect. Great job!
This is beautiful. I sew for a lot of my rockabilly girlfriends and they all want a playsuit but I have not tried this style YET. Will be looking out for a vintage pattern and some victim to try it out on. You look stunning.

Oh, I could never see the point of playsuits, but that one looks good on you!
