Truffle muslin

Hi everyone! For Sew Colette last month the project was sewing up the Truffle dress from the Colette Sewing Handbook. I made a wearable muslin with this fun sixties fabric. I am so happy with how it turned out! It was my first time making a wearable muslin and my first time sewing with a stretchy fabric. The fit turned out so well that I didn’t have to make any adjustments, yes! :) Here is a link to my muslin post and here is a link to the second/final version of the Truffle.

Have any of you sewn this dress? I love it, I plan to make it again in the future.

In my past life I was a flapper. Today, I am not as exciting. I just like to read, sew, cook, obsess over Old Hollywood stars, and design things on the computer.
