Let’s just call it a circle skirt!

Hello! My first post on here, finally!
My first ever sewing project is finished! I started with this in January.Getting started was no problem at all. However I couldn’t get past one particular hurdle.

The sewing machine.

I had cut all the pieces end January. At the end of March I approached the sewing machine. And last week I finished it.

Pattern: Simplicity 5403

Fabric: 3.70 m of  ? (€2/m)

Notions: A whole lot of thread, 18cm zipper, a bit of interfacing and one skirt hook closure.

I love everything vintage and retro. Just recently I started sewing.

Great color – and it certainly doesn’t look like your first sewing project! You must be a natural.

Thank you! It’s more luck than wisdom ;)
And my mum is a great help.

Well done on your first sewing project. Getting a circle skirt perfect is no easy feat – you should be proud. Hope to see more things from you soon x
