Here’s another dress to add to my closet – a cute little minidress, in a pretty watercolor floral
I used McCall’s 2185 from 1969, in the shorter length, and pulled another 1/2″ or so off the waist seams for a more fitted look. The hips, on the other hand, had to be let out to the smallest 1/4″ seam (and they are still a little tight – definitely not A-line! Ugh!). I originally planned on making the matching fabric belt buuut I got frustrated & ripped a hole in my fabric… fake leather turquoise belt will do
Hehe!

The fabric was given to me by a friend’s grandmother, so it may very well be vintage too! It is very sheer, so it is underlined with white batiste.
I’m not 100% thrilled with it buuut it is a nice little dress that will be cool in the summer so I can’t complain!
