Self-Drafted Pencil Skirt

I feel like I should introduce myself. I have posted before but it has been a really long time. My name is Melynda. I hang out on a farm in Southwest Colorado. When I’m not running a very busy household, I like to sneak off to my studio and make something. Usually at my sewing machine and preferably using vintage materials. This skirt is from a series of pencil skirts that I just finished, trying to get it just right. It is made using vintage wool. The pattern is self-drafted and the inspiration is the great pencil skirt from the fifties. I hope to post more often. I am amazed and humbled by this wonderful online sewing community. I would like to think I could do something in my small way to give a little back.
