I wanted a fun, simple blouse to wear as a 50′s look. I really like scalloped and I am so pleased they look rounded and less like shark teeth. This blouse was made from an 80′s McCall’s 4248. Gina

The scallops also keep it from getting too waitressy, which is something I always worry about with a white collar and cuffed short sleeves.
Scallops! I love scallops!! I add them to retro aprons. Your top is super cute, and I like that the collar and cuffs are in different colors than the blouse. Of course, if you make the entire shirt in one fabric, then you’ll avoid the waitress look.
