Just dropping in from Seams Sustainable  to show you my completed Armistice Blouse. All the details of the sewing and the modifications are available on the blog. I’m planning to add a skirt of the same era to complete the outfit, hopefully next week. Thanks for looking! Dee

It looks great! I’m glad to hear it went together so well, and that you’d use it again.

This is such weird timing because I literally JUST finished sketching this blouse in my sketch pad, as something I’m shopping for on my next fabric shopping trip. Then I thought, well that’s done, I think I’ll look on “We Sew Retro” and see if anyone has posted anything new today – and this is the first thing that came up! Spooky. . .

I’ve always wanted to do this pattern, so it’s nice to hear that it went together so well for you.

Oh, don’t you love that blouse? I was terrified to make it at first, but it is astoundingly easy to sew. And to wear. I wore my white eyelet one to rags last summer — must hurry up and cut out a replacement.
