Butterick 6690

So, I’m a first time poster.  I started sewing a year ago, and this is my fourth dress, and my first two piece dress.  The pattern looks like this:

Oooooh.  Pretty.

My sewing teacher gifted me five yards of fabric, and away I went!

As far as alterations go, I raised the armscye by quite a bit, and increased the bust. It looks better in person, but I’m rather happy as to how it came out.

And, following the pattern instructions, I sewed all four buttonholes by hand.  Boo Yah!
