Hello again We Sew Retro readers!

It’s been a few weeks since my last post so I thought it was about time I showed you all what I’ve been up to.

I’ve recently become a little (understatement) obsessed with vintage blouses, particularly from the early 1960′s.

I blame the cute illustrations, they’re hard to resist!

Simplicity 5285 is the latest pattern to join my collection, and I’m in love with it.

So far I’ve made up 3 versions using some cotton I’ve had in my stash for a little while, but I have plans for more!

As always, take a peak at my blog for more info! Till next time :)

I have two of this pattern and have nearly bought it again by accident! I’ve seen kids and teens versions of it, and releases from other years where the drawings have different fabric on their blouses. It’s a classic pattern! I haven’t made it yet but your versions are inspiring!!
