Do you have Mad Men fever? I do. I just finished my dress for Ms. Bobbin’s themed SAL. I’ve named her Betty.

Isn’t she a beaut? I used McCall 5842 from 1961 to sew her.

I’ve got a picture OVERLOAD  of both the process and product on my BLOG. Are you, or have you recently sewn anything MadMen?

This is very pretty. Looks like you had a blast on the photoshoot.

And a shout out to Grandma Charlotte – she’s converted me to her method of gathering. Thanks G.C. :D

I am in love with the fabrics you used. So very feminine and the colors are gorgeous. Your dress looks marvelous on you.

Katherine has me curious, though, about “Grandma Charlotte” and her gathering method. I’ll have to look into that …
