Simplicity 5209

by Through the Alley

in 1960s

Hello! Here is another one of my most recent projects. I made Simplicity’s 5209 from 1964. I used a vintage plaid wool I had in my stash. This was my first time matching plaids, but I feel like I did a pretty good job! You just have to stay focused and keep looking back to make sure it’s right before you cut it.

This is another pattern that I was very happy with the outcome and would definitely remake again.

I styled with dress with a white button up blouse, brown waist belt, and brown flats.

Hi! I'm Allie, a 21 year old vintage enthusiast. I spend most of my time thrifting, going on random adventures with my boyfriend, antiquing, taking pictures of random things, styling photo shoots, reading, sewing, having dinner with friends, knitting, wasting time on instagram -_- and hanging out at my local Korean bath house.
