Vogue 7630

by urban rustic

in 1970s

It has been awhile (yet again) since I have contributed to WeSewRetro so as I have just finished this dress I thought that I would post about it here too.

I can’t pinpoint a date exactly at the moment other than the 70′s but it is an empire line dress with Bishop sleeves finishing with deep cuffs. For this first version I chose the shorter length as I had just the right amount of fabric but intend to make more including a full length version.

Slightly more details over on my blog at www.themakingsofanurbanrustic.blogspot.com

I am mostly self taught and dabble in dress making, crocheting, lace making and knitting with a blast on the glue gun every now and then.At the moment I seem to make clothes from the 1970's and am in love with anything maxi.

It’s such a beautiful dress. I am desperate to get my hands on that pattern and have been looking for months now. If ever you are done with it, I’ll be happy to buy it off you. :)
