Vintage Simplicity 6446

I just adore this dress! Made with Simplicity 6446 from 1966 and some lovely Japanese lawn from Spotlight.

The dress was pretty much sewn as specified by the instructions, grading up at the waist for fit and adding in seam pockets for functionality. I was planning  on making a belt to match, but I really like how this dress looks with my grey belt.

I love the scoop neck and the tie. More information can be found on my blog.

Happy sewing all!

I am an obsessive compulsive sewer. I don't just make one thing, I make everything!! I also crochet and knit, as well as take care of three little kiddies, a husband and a dog. I blog for many reasons, but mainly to show off some of the many things I make. You see my husband pretends he cares, but I know he really doesn't.
