A Scarlet Skirt

Rather in love am I with this skirt I made last night…

Inspired by something I saw on Pinterest, I embarked on the making of this 1/4 circle skirt when I should have been getting an early night!  Amazingly, it took little more than an hour start to finish from an entirely eye-balled self-drafted pattern.

The fit and fall of this skirt turned out so well and I love the warm 70s feel.  Yup, I think I’m ready for Spring!

Wonderful skirt. I always want to wear this style. But I have cartoonishly long legs (and an equally short waist) and it seems like a sin to go with a maxi length. Great job, it fits you perfect.

Gorgeous! I’m loving long skirts these days and the bright lipstick red is just the perfect color!
