The curtain coat

in Jackets

A refashioning project- a coat from a curtain.

Trying to look a bit Chanel- ish?

A short cropped jacket which was my first attempt in lining and jacketing! Exciting stuff.

Trying for a vintage inspired Chanel look. More info on the old blog.

Awesome! Can’t believe it started life as a curtain – when I try to refashion something into clothing it just looks like I’m auditioning for a part as the Trash Heap in Fraggle Rock.

Thanks! It really looked like a mangy old curtain too.
Hahaha i’m sure thats not the case with your refashioning, but i do love fraggle rock

This turned out very well! Love the soft contrast between the pink and white details.
