I pulled out one of my favorite wool pencil skirts to wear this week, made using Simplicity 4047. This skirt makes me want to sew up a bunch of blouses to match.

The wool is what was leftover from my construction of Butterick 5281.

I love when I can squeeze two projects out of one length of wool! It makes me think I am getting away with something . . .
And I have finished my new wool coat! While it is not vintage, per se, it definitely has that feel, so I thought I would share it with you.

As always, more pictures may be found over at Lilacs & Lace.
