Im loving this new format We sew retro! I just have to learn this wordpress posting a bit more now. I cant figur out how to post these photos. Maybe you should do a little tutorial on this? If any of you follow my blog Sewcountrychick I recently switched form blogspot to www.sewcountrychick.com  and my feeds are having some trouble but Im still here! These are two matching dresses I made for a vintage and upcycled fashion show I had recently. They are both made from vintage bed sheets and I adapted two modern patterns to give them a sixties vibe. I realize the bigger dress seems too long for a sixties look but my original model was almost 6 feet and my cute 5’2″ daughter is wearing it here!

Here’s a picture tutorial from YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FxxFt3a0T5w although admittedly I haven’t watched it all the way through yet.

I’ll make a tutorial this weekend and post it up in a prominent place : )
