Mod Arrow Dress Project: Simplicity 8682 from 1969- NAVY BLUE

So, after having the various snafus with the green, mod arrow dress, I decided to go forth with a navy blue arrow dress. I had learned some important lessons with the green dress.

This dress went much more smoothly! You can read more and see more pictures at my blog Sew Sixties.

Happy sewing!

  • I have that pattern and it's such a wonderfully basic pattern – ideal for showcasing period details, such as your applique.

I really like your arrow dress. Very cool!

  • Thanks, Jenny! I agree that's a great basic pattern that you can apply your own touches to. I've used it several times now.
